Hi, I’m Megan!

Welcome to Balanced Life and Travel. I’m so glad you’re here.

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2013, and adjusting to life with a chronic illness was a huge challenge. I had heard of Crohn’s disease, but I didn’t know anything about it. Over the next few years, I learned everything I could about the condition and wellness practices I could use to find a new normal for myself.

While I will always need to pay attention to my health, it’s not the focus of my attention anymore. I have found balance between managing a chronic illness and leading a happy, fulfilling life. Learning how to take care of myself so I can still travel and see the world took years. I don’t want you do have to do the same.

I want to help you find your new normal living with a chronic illness so you can do all of the things you love.
